During the holidays when your preparing that turkey dinner, or lighting the fire place to set the mood and entertain your family, This is when wildlife problems just show up unexpectedly. Trim all plant life near ground level not giving coyotes cover to lurk on their pray.
All fences should be at least six feet looping out at the top keeping them un-climable.
No small children or small pets unattended outside.
If you encounter a coyote make a lot of noise, raise your arms, appear as large as possible to them and you'll scare them off. A good example is a peacock bulking up to scare off its predators- intimidation works wonders.
